Delighted to meet you!

We are Team Popote.

Sometimes we meet you at trade shows, events, or even completely by chance on the street (yes, really, it happens!). We love putting faces to the families behind our little pouches. But apart from those moments, we're not always the best at putting ourselves in the spotlight, we're a bit shy, after all. Then one day we realised you deserved to know the people behind the little pouches you feed your baby every day.

Beyond this dream team that we're always delighted to see every morning, we're incredibly lucky to be surrounded by amazing people who help us grow Popote every single day. This is our chance to (re)introduce them—and to say a huge thank you to Damien, Hélène, Marie, Chloé, Lucie and Sabi. ❤️

And above all, what a joy it is to know that our work helps make your little ones' mealtimes a little happier every day. Whether we're making family trips easier, saving the day on those evenings when you're running hopelessly late, or simply taking a little of the guilt off your shoulders, we're so grateful to be part of your journey.

Thank you for your encouragement, your kind words and your brilliant ideas. Now you know exactly who's behind Popote!

See you soon!

Love & Bambino,

The Popote Team

Frequently asked questions from our customers and community

Can you freeze the products?

Our (delicious) little purées have been cooked and then sterilised (heated to a high temperature) to ensure their preservation.
You can freeze them without any problem by following a few guidelines (the ingredients may however lose a little of their flavour):

  • Do not place the pouch directly in the freezer, as its structure may be affected by freezing.
  • Pour them into a suitable container first (an ice cube tray, for example), or cook them before freezing.
  • Never refreeze a product that has already been defrosted.

Parent tip: use our little pouches to cook recipes for your baby, then freeze them to keep them for longer!

Once opened, how long does the pouch keep?

Once opened, fruits, vegetables and yogurt-style pouches keep for 48 hours in the fridge, and 36 hours for little meals and meat/fish. And of course, you can freeze the rest of your pouches by pouring them into an ice cube tray — perfect for making handy little portions ready to whip out when Baby is hungry.

Should you add fat to your products?

There is no added fat in our pouches (except in the complete little meals).
And as you might expect, fat is essential for Baby! You can therefore add one teaspoon of oil per day between 4 and 12 months, and 2 teaspoons between 12 and 36 months, into the purée after warming it up.

Can you warm up the pouches?

Just like glass baby food jars, our pouches can be warmed up. At Popote, we recommend pouring the contents of your pouches into a suitable container before heating in the microwave or in a bain-marie. Make sure to check the temperature of the food before giving it to your baby.
WARNING: never put the pouch directly in the microwave. Never store a pouch whose contents have already been warmed up in its packaging.
