Our tips for getting the most out of your infant formula
Breastfeeding is the ideal nutrition for infants. The WHO recommends exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months and alongside solid foods until 2 years. Before using an infant formula, seek advice from a healthcare professional.
Preparing a bottle: use suitable water and follow the dosage instructions (1 level scoop per 30ml of water). Prepare the bottle just before feeding, never heat it in the microwave, and discard any leftovers within one hour.
Switching between milks: the move from stage 1, 2 or 3 generally happens at the start of weaning (around 6 months) and then when your baby is eating 3 varied meals a day (around 10–12 months). Your paediatrician remains your best guide for adapting your child's diet.
