Why choose a 400g baby formula tin?
The 400g size is ideal for trying a new baby milk without any waste. It's also the right size when you're mixed feeding, when you just need a box to tide you over, or when you want to wean Baby at their own pace. This small tin of baby milk is also handy for weekends away, travelling, and leaving Baby with a carer.
Is it the same baby formula in the small and large tins?
Yes, it's exactly the same formula — organic, palm oil-free and made in France. Only the size changes, so you can have the large tin at home and the small tin at nursery. The large tin for everyday use, the small tin for outings, trips and weekends…
How do I transition from breast milk to infant formula?
We start by getting Baby used to the bottle: breast milk only for the first few days. Then mix 80% breast milk with 20% infant formula (easier if warmed to 37 degrees), gradually increasing until the bottle contains 100% baby formula. This helps Baby get used to the taste of baby formula, which is very different from breast milk.
How do you transition between two baby formulas?
Mix 80% of their current infant formula with 20% of Popote infant formula on the first day, then two thirds to one third, half and half… until you reach 100% Popote infant formula.
What if Baby doesn't like formula?
That's the advantage of having chosen a small tin of baby formula to start with. And if you buy more tins, we'll take back any unopened ones.
