Perfect for parents who just need a little nudge
to get started with cashew introduction (no stress), step by step, in a simple and controlled way.

Why is it great for Baby?

🌿 Cashew nuts sourced from organic farming and locally processed in West Africa, roasted — nothing but the best for Baby.

🥣 A blend of 3 plant-based oils rich in essential fatty acids, perfect for their development.

🥄 A smooth texture, easy to mix into their meals (purées, compotes, stirred yogurts…).

What next? Once the kit is finished, remember to offer cashew regularly to get Baby used to it.

Detailed description

WHY SHOULD YOU INTRODUCE ALLERGENS?

Because we now know that the earlier you introduce commonly allergenic foods at the start of weaning, the more you reduce the risk of a child developing an allergy later in life.

THE RECOMMENDATION?
A GRADUAL AND REGULAR INTRODUCTION

Let's take it step by step! We introduce allergenic foods one by one starting with small quantities, to get Baby used to them and make sure there is no reaction.
Then, once the food has been introduced, it's important to offer it regularly in Baby's diet throughout childhood — ideally 2 times a week.
If Baby has severe eczema or if you have any doubts, it's best to raise the subject with your paediatrician or allergist without losing any time.
Since we're not cashew experts ourselves, we thought it was worth introducing you to Dalipo.

THE DALIPO SOLUTION FOR INTRODUCING PEANUTS AND TREE NUTS

Dalipo makes life easier for parents to introduce allergens into Baby's diet in an optimal and controlled way.
Either with a ready-made programme for a gradual and regular introduction, or with starter kits to get going: almond, cashew, peanut or hazelnut.
Every day, simply season one of Baby's meals with a little sachet, and that's it! Easy, right?
The bonus: each sachet contains the teaspoon of vegetable oils that Baby needs every day!

Find the starter kits for the different allergens: hazelnut and almond right here to introduce them in a gradual and regular way.

Already introduced tree nuts but struggling to keep them in your baby's diet regularly? Head to: www.dalipo.co to discover the consolidation packs designed to make daily introduction easier.

Usage tips

  • Before opening, store the pouches at room temperature. If needed, keep refrigerated for up to one week after opening. To preserve all the product's qualities, pour just before serving.
  • Shake, open, enjoy: on its own or as a dressing, sweet or savoury — you choose! Please note that each pouch provides one teaspoon of added oil to support your baby's healthy development.
  • Keep out of reach of babies: do not let your child play with it. Do not microwave the pouch. Not suitable for people diagnosed with a nut allergy.
  • Don't forget to recycle. Separate the components before sorting. The box and the pouches can go straight into the recycling bin.

Frequently asked questions from our favourite parents

Why should allergens be introduced during weaning?

Introducing allergens from the start of weaning (4/6 months) helps reduce the risk of allergies in Baby later on.

Which allergens should you introduce first?

Start with the ones your baby is likely to encounter regularly and that you eat at home: eggs, gluten, tree nuts, peanuts, fish and milk.

Should allergens be given regularly?

Yes, regularity is super important! Once a food has been introduced, it's considered part of your baby's diet — so go ahead and offer it 1 to 2 times a week.

What are the signs of an allergic reaction in Baby?

Worth keeping in mind: it's often rare, and it can show up as: red patches, hives, vomiting, diarrhoea, coughing, or a slightly swollen throat. If in doubt, contact your doctor or emergency services.

Frequently asked questions from our favourite parents

Can the products be frozen?

Our (delicious) little purées have been cooked and then sterilised (heated to a high temperature) to ensure their preservation.
You can freeze them without any problem by following a few guidelines (the ingredients may however lose a little of their flavour):
– Do not place the pouch directly in the freezer, as its structure may be affected by freezing.
– Pour the contents into a suitable container beforehand (an ice cube tray, for example) or cook them before freezing.
– Never refreeze a product that has already been thawed.
Parent tip: use our little pouches to cook recipes for your baby, then freeze them to keep them for longer!

Once opened, how long does the pouch keep?

Our baby pouches can be kept in the fridge for up to 48 hours for fruit, vegetables and yogurt-style pouches, and up to 36 hours for meat, fish and ready meal pouches, provided they are stored hygienically and with the cap properly closed.

Should you add fat to your products?

There is no added fat in our pouches (except in the complete little meals).
And as you might expect, fat is essential for Baby! You can therefore add a teaspoon of oil per day between 4 and 12 months, and 2 teaspoons between 12 and 36 months, into the purée after warming it up.

My baby is allergic to cow's milk protein

None of our pouches contain any trace of cow's milk protein, except for our plain yogurt, vanilla yogurt, porridge, our meal pouches and possibly our beef and veal pouches.
But don't panic! We've thought of everything with our plant-based yogurts: maximum discovery with the Oat-Apple and Coco-Banana for babies with CMPA (please note, they contain little calcium).
Psst, all our machines are cleaned before each new production run, so there's no risk of cross-contamination.
