Detailed description

WHY SHOULD ALLERGENS BE INTRODUCED?

Because we now know that the earlier you introduce common allergenic foods during weaning, the lower the risk of your child developing a food allergy later in life.

THE RECOMMENDATION?
A GRADUAL AND REGULAR INTRODUCTION

Let's take it one step at a time! Introduce allergenic foods one at a time, starting with small amounts, to help Baby get used to them while making sure there's no reaction.
Once a food has been introduced, it's important to continue offering it regularly as part of Baby's diet throughout childhood—ideally twice a week. If Baby has severe eczema, or if you have any concerns, it's best to discuss introducing allergenic foods with your paediatrician or allergist without delay.
As we're not exactly nut experts, we thought it was the perfect opportunity to introduce you to Dalipo.

DALIPO'S SOLUTION FOR INTRODUCING PEANUTS AND TREE NUTS

Dalipo makes life easier for parents by helping them introduce allergens into Baby's diet in a safe, gradual and controlled way.
Choose from a ready-made programme for gradual, regular introduction, or starter kits featuring hazelnut, cashew, peanut or almond.
Simply add one sachet to one of Baby's meals each day—and that's it! Easy, right?
The little bonus: each sachet also contains the teaspoon of vegetable oils Baby needs every day!

Usage tips

  • Before opening, store the cartons at room temperature. If needed, keep refrigerated for up to one week after opening. To preserve all the product's qualities, pour just before serving.
  • Shake, open, enjoy: on its own or as a seasoning, sweet or savoury — the choice is yours! Please note that each carton provides one teaspoon of added oil to support your baby's healthy development.
  • Keep out of reach of babies: do not let your child play with it. Do not microwave the carton. Not suitable for people diagnosed with tree nut allergies.
  • Don't forget to recycle. Separate the components before sorting. The box and the cartons can go straight into the recycling bin.

Frequently asked questions from our favourite parents

Why introduce allergens early during weaning?

Research shows that early introduction of allergens (from 4–6 months) reduces the risk of developing food allergies later on.

Which allergens should you introduce to Baby first?

We recommend starting with the most common ones found at home: eggs, gluten, tree nuts, peanuts, fish and milk.

Should allergens be given regularly?

Yes, consistency is key: once an allergen has been introduced, it should appear in Baby's diet 1 to 2 times a week.

How does a Baby react to an allergy?

Possible signs include skin reactions (redness, hives), digestive issues (vomiting, diarrhoea) or respiratory symptoms (wheezing, throat swelling). It's rare and often mild, but if in doubt, consult your doctor or call the emergency services depending on the severity.

Frequently asked questions from our favourite parents

Can the products be frozen?

Our (delicious) little purées have been cooked and then sterilised (heated to a high temperature) to ensure their preservation.
You can freeze them without any problem by following a few guidelines (the ingredients may however lose a little of their flavour):
– Do not place the pouch directly in the freezer, as its structure may be affected by freezing.
– Pour the contents into a suitable container beforehand (an ice cube tray, for example) or cook them before freezing.
– Never refreeze a product that has already been thawed.
Parent tip: use our little pouches to cook recipes for your baby, then freeze them to keep them for longer!

Once opened, how long does the pouch keep?

Our baby pouches can be kept in the fridge for up to 48 hours for fruit, vegetables and yogurt-style pouches, and up to 36 hours for meat, fish and ready meal pouches, provided they are stored hygienically and with the cap properly closed.

Should you add fat to your products?

There is no added fat in our pouches (except in the complete little meals).
And as you might expect, fat is essential for Baby! You can therefore add a teaspoon of oil per day between 4 and 12 months, and 2 teaspoons between 12 and 36 months, into the purée after warming it up.

My baby is allergic to cow's milk protein

None of our pouches contain any trace of cow's milk protein, except for our plain yogurt, vanilla yogurt, porridge, our meal pouches and possibly our beef and veal pouches.
But don't panic! We've thought of everything with our plant-based yogurts: maximum discovery with the Oat-Apple and Coco-Banana for babies with CMPA (please note, they contain little calcium).
Psst, all our machines are cleaned before each new production run, so there's no risk of cross-contamination.
