The cherry on top of the meal!

Every moment has its highlight, and for Baby's mealtime, it's this little pouch made with lovely plump cherries.

Detailed description

POPOTE'S CHERRY COMPOTE FOR BABY

The cherry on top of the Popote! How did Popote manage to create an original compote for Baby? By picking the finest cherries, then gently steaming and blending them. Baby can enjoy cherry compote from 4 or 6 months old — and we bet they'll never get tired of it! Cherries washed, stoned and blended with love.

This compote will add a touch of originality to Baby's weaning journey (hats off to all the parents who make their own homemade organic cherry compote!). Mix things up with clever combinations like cherry-banana, or a crumbled sponge finger for extra indulgence.

Still in the red fruits category, discover our raspberry pouch, our strawberry pouch and our blueberry pouch.

Fancy a little "hot-and-cold" from 6 months?

All our recipes using cherry compote for baby can be found on Popote Minute. Share your recipe ideas with us by email at bonjour@popote-bb.fr 📩. We'll be happy to reshare them (and give them a try!).

Usage tips

  • If this pouch has not been warmed, it can be kept at room temperature and for up to 48 hours in the fridge after opening. Portionable and resealable, it can be reused provided hygienic storage conditions are maintained.
  • Designed to preserve the ingredients, this little pouch is manufactured without bisphenol A in accordance with regulations and packaged under a protective atmosphere.

Everything you need to know about Cherries

Frequently asked questions from our favourite parents

At what age can cherries be introduced?

Cherries can be introduced right from the start of weaning — between 4 and 6 months.

How much cherry purée do we give at the start?

At the start, give one or two teaspoons of purée, then gradually increase according to your baby's appetite.

Why do you add apple?

Because our cherries are a little tart, so it helps achieve a gentler flavour and the perfect texture!

What fruit can you mix with cherries?

A little almond purée is delicious and a great way to introduce tree nuts.

Why is the Popote Cherry a little tart?

Cherry is a naturally tangy fruit, and its tartness can vary depending on the harvest. So depending on the fruit, your Popote Cherry may taste more or less tangy.

Everything you need to know about my popote

Frequently asked questions from our favourite parents

Can the products be frozen?

Our (delicious) little purées have been cooked and then sterilised (heated to a high temperature) to ensure their preservation.
You can freeze them without any problem by following a few guidelines (the ingredients may however lose a little of their flavour):
– Do not place the pouch directly in the freezer, as its structure may be affected by freezing.
– Pour the contents into a suitable container beforehand (an ice cube tray, for example) or cook them before freezing.
– Never refreeze a product that has already been thawed.
Parent tip: use our little pouches to cook recipes for your baby, then freeze them to keep them for longer!

Once opened, how long does the pouch keep?

Our baby pouches can be kept in the fridge for up to 48 hours for fruit, vegetables and yogurt-style pouches, and up to 36 hours for meat, fish and ready meal pouches, provided they are stored hygienically and with the cap properly closed.

Should you add fat to your products?

There is no added fat in our pouches (except in the complete little meals).
And as you might expect, fat is essential for Baby! You can therefore add a teaspoon of oil per day between 4 and 12 months, and 2 teaspoons between 12 and 36 months, into the purée after warming it up.

My baby is allergic to cow's milk protein

None of our pouches contain any trace of cow's milk protein, except for our plain yogurt, vanilla yogurt, porridge, our meal pouches and possibly our beef and veal pouches.
But don't panic! We've thought of everything with our plant-based yogurts: maximum discovery with the Oat-Apple and Coco-Banana for babies with CMPA (please note, they contain little calcium).
Psst, all our machines are cleaned before each new production run, so there's no risk of cross-contamination.
