Detailed description
Going back to work, whether by choice or necessity, is always a new chapter in your life as a woman. Dealing with a whole new mental load, getting through the days after restless nights, realigning the planets on both the personal and professional front, racing against the clock, finding your place in the team again… that's what it's all about.
We asked ourselves what role Popote could play in all of this, and in the end, it's perhaps support and gentleness that you need most. So we brought together a few kind words and thoughtful touches, which gave birth to this box.
For you, to give to your favourite colleague, to mention to your company, for your friend who's just gone back…
What's inside this back-to-work box?
- A magazine of around fifty pages packed with tips on taking care of yourself (hello, the special Food Jolly Mama feature), managing the new routine, heading back to the office, stories from parents who've been through it, (cool-mode) reflection exercises to take stock, and a little humour, of course!
- Advice on anticipating or starting Baby's weaning journey, because if the maths adds up, you're probably not far off — plus a Popote to help you get started!
- Little winks of solidarity, because we know what it's like! A pocket pack of tissues (this too shall pass), a door hanger for those who've chosen to carry on breastfeeding and express at work, and a little boob for moments of mild or major stress.
Enjoy discovering it all — and one day, we promise, the planets will align!

What's in the back-to-work-after-maternity-leave box?
Is it a good idea to give this box to a friend or colleague?
I'm a manager or HR professional — I'd like to offer a maternity leave return box in my company. How do I go about it?

Can the products be frozen?
Our (delicious) little purées are cooked and then sterilised (heated to a high temperature) to preserve them.
You can freeze them, provided you follow a few guidelines (though the ingredients may lose a little flavour):
– Don’t put the pouch straight into the freezer, as freezing may affect its structure.
– First pour the contents into a suitable container (an ice cube tray, for example), or cook with them before freezing.
– Never refreeze a product once it has thawed.
Parent tip: use our little pouches to make recipes for your baby, then freeze them to keep them for longer!
How long does a pouch keep once opened?
Once opened, our baby food pouches can be kept in the fridge for up to 48 hours for fruit, vegetables and yoghurt-style blends, and up to 36 hours for meat, fish and little meal pouches, provided they are stored hygienically with the cap firmly closed.
Should I add fat to your products?
Our pouches contain no added fat (except the two Little Meals pouches).
And as you’ve probably guessed, babies need fat! You can therefore add one teaspoon of oil a day to the purée between 4 and 12 months, and two teaspoons between 12 and 36 months, after heating it up.
My baby is allergic to cow’s milk protein
None of our pouches contain traces of cow’s milk proteins, apart from our plain and vanilla creamy blends, porridge, little meals and possibly our beef and veal pouches.
But don’t worry! We’ve thought of that too with our plant-based creamy blends: plenty for babies with cow’s milk protein allergy to discover in Oat & Apple and Coconut & Banana (please note that they’re low in calcium).
Psst, all our machines are cleaned before each new production run, so there’s no risk of cross-contamination.
