Because things didn't go quite as you'd imagined, to give the co-parent a treat, to get through a night, because you hate expressing, because you simply didn't feel like it, or just because the time feels right.
There are 1,000 reasons why you've ended up here.
What's in our baby formula?
What's actually in it?
An adjusted protein level, 15 vitamins and minerals, DHA, milk cream… A tin of aby formula often comes with an ingredient list that nobody really understands. We explain what's in ours, what we chose to include and what we chose to leave out.

Why it will never be breast milk…
No, we will never be able to make breast milk. It is a living fluid, tailor-made for your baby, adapting in real time to their needs and going far beyond nourishment. Infant formula, on the other hand, is formulated for all babies and provides the nutrients to help Baby grow. Breast milk, baby formula: the real differences
Where do our ingredients come from?
Across our three age ranges, an average of 90% of our ingredients are French (including the milk sourced), 10% are European, and we source 0.4% of our ingredients from further afield, simply because the expertise required does not exist in France or Europe.

How is baby formula made?
From cow's milk to the tin in your cupboard, there are dozens and dozens of steps. We add, we remove, we adjust, we test… Welcome behind the scenes of how it's made
Why it's safe for Baby (and the planet!)
Why it's safe for Baby (and the planet!)
Safety, regulation, first!
Baby formula is one of the most regulated products in existence. This is not a marketing promise: it is European regulation. Composition regulated nutrient by nutrient, zero tolerance on contaminants, full traceability… We tell you what that means in practice and where we go a little further.
Understanding why infant formula is so tightly regulated

Pesticides, contaminants, heavy metals… Every batch of Popote formula is tested and the reports are available for each one, with some explanations to help you make sense of them. Access our batch test reports.
Choosing organic, French production and palm oil-free
Certified organic, because we believe in what it truly implies: cows with access to the outdoors, soils that are preserved, farming practices that think about the future. Palm oil-free, with French cow's milk, because we also care about supporting farmers and the expertise of our local region. The convictions we stand by.
How we support every kind of parenthood!
