Detailed description
POPOTE'S BABY FIG COMPOTE
Have you ever tried a little fig pot for baby? No? Not surprising — there aren't any! Except at Popote... Our 100% organic fig compote is going to jazz up your little one's meals!
From 4 or 6 months, introduce your baby to a varied diet with Popote's smooth fig compote. And when they're a bit older, treat them to a soft little cake made only for babies, from 18 months. They'll discover a new texture while enjoying their favourite Popote.
Gently prepared and steamed, Popote offers you pouches of fruits, vegetables and meats with no unnecessary additives or preservatives. Just the good stuff! Our Popote pouches — nothing more, nothing less than a baby pot that's easy to take anywhere.
A RECIPE FOR BABY
For a gluten-free** recipe from 8 months, mix 75ml of coconut milk with the same amount of reconstituted baby formula, bring to the boil, add 15g of tapioca and stir in, leave to cook on a low heat for 7 minutes. Pour into a ramekin, leave to cool and top with fig purée. A soft little old-fashioned fig cake sounds rather tempting too, doesn't it?
Find all our recipes on Popote Minute. Feel free to share your recipe ideas with us by email at bonjour@popote-bb.fr 📩. We'll be more than happy to reshare them (and test them!).
** gluten-free

Can the products be frozen?
Our (delicious) little purées have been cooked and then sterilised (heated to a high temperature) to ensure their preservation.
You can freeze them without any problem by following a few guidelines (the ingredients may however lose a little of their flavour):
– Do not place the pouch directly in the freezer, as its structure may be affected by freezing.
– Pour the contents into a suitable container beforehand (an ice cube tray, for example) or cook them before freezing.
– Never refreeze a product that has already been thawed.
Parent tip: use our little pouches to cook recipes for your baby, then freeze them to keep them for longer!
Once opened, how long does the pouch keep?
Our baby pouches can be kept in the fridge for up to 48 hours for fruit, vegetables and yogurt-style pouches, and up to 36 hours for meat, fish and ready meal pouches, provided they are stored hygienically and with the cap properly closed.
Should you add fat to your products?
There is no added fat in our pouches (except in the complete little meals).
And as you might expect, fat is essential for Baby! You can therefore add a teaspoon of oil per day between 4 and 12 months, and 2 teaspoons between 12 and 36 months, into the purée after warming it up.
My baby is allergic to cow's milk protein
None of our pouches contain any trace of cow's milk protein, except for our plain yogurt, vanilla yogurt, porridge, our meal pouches and possibly our beef and veal pouches.
But don't panic! We've thought of everything with our plant-based yogurts: maximum discovery with the Oat-Apple and Coco-Banana for babies with CMPA (please note, they contain little calcium).
Psst, all our machines are cleaned before each new production run, so there's no risk of cross-contamination.
