Green beans are famous for their ends — but every story has a beginning. And today, it's baby's turn to discover organic green bean purée. How's that for a fresh start?

Detailed description

POPOTE'S GREEN BEAN PURÉE FOR BABY

THE go-to for starting weaning with Baby from 4/6 months: green bean purée! Light as a feather, green beans are rich in calcium, vitamins and fibre. This first baby purée is perfect for discovering the pleasure of vegetable flavour.

That's why at Popote we decided to offer you a smooth 100% organic purée that's easy to mix with other flavours. Like a little pot of green bean purée for Baby… but in a pouch format, absolutely perfect for on-the-go Babies! And to gently introduce Baby to the taste of this purée, offer them a little bouillon only for babies. A little taster that will surely help them appreciate it even more later on. All our Popote pouches are guaranteed organic and above all free from preservatives and additives — nothing but the good stuff.

THE BABY RECIPE

Draw me a little green bear from 12 months!

Empty a green bean pouch onto a plate, draw ears and a nose with cooked rice and a mouth with flaked cod. Watch out for bones! Warm it up and it's ready!

All our green bean recipes for baby can be found on Popote Minute. Send us your recipe ideas by email at bonjour@popote-bb.fr 📩. We'll be happy to reshare them (and test them!).

Usage tips

  • If this pouch has not been warmed, it can be kept at room temperature and up to 48 hours in the fridge after opening. Portionable and resealable, it can be reused provided hygienic storage conditions are maintained.
  • Designed to preserve the ingredients, this little pouch is made without bisphenol A in accordance with regulations and packaged under a protective atmosphere.
  • Let your culinary creativity run wild by creating your own recipes, but never let a child under 36 months play with the cap or without supervision!
  • Don't forget to recycle. All our pouches, caps included, can go straight into the recycling bin!

Frequently asked questions from our favourite parents

Can the products be frozen?

Our (delicious) little purées have been cooked and then sterilised (heated to a high temperature) to ensure their preservation.
You can freeze them without any problem by following a few guidelines (the ingredients may however lose a little of their flavour):
– Do not place the pouch directly in the freezer, as its structure may be affected by freezing.
– Pour the contents into a suitable container beforehand (an ice cube tray, for example) or cook them before freezing.
– Never refreeze a product that has already been thawed.
Parent tip: use our little pouches to cook recipes for your baby, then freeze them to keep them for longer!

Once opened, how long does the pouch keep?

Our baby pouches can be kept in the fridge for up to 48 hours for fruit, vegetables and yogurt-style pouches, and up to 36 hours for meat, fish and ready meal pouches, provided they are stored hygienically and with the cap properly closed.

Should you add fat to your products?

There is no added fat in our pouches (except in the complete little meals).
And as you might expect, fat is essential for Baby! You can therefore add a teaspoon of oil per day between 4 and 12 months, and 2 teaspoons between 12 and 36 months, into the purée after warming it up.

My baby is allergic to cow's milk protein

None of our pouches contain any trace of cow's milk protein, except for our plain yogurt, vanilla yogurt, porridge, our meal pouches and possibly our beef and veal pouches.
But don't panic! We've thought of everything with our plant-based yogurts: maximum discovery with the Oat-Apple and Coco-Banana for babies with CMPA (please note, they contain little calcium).
Psst, all our machines are cleaned before each new production run, so there's no risk of cross-contamination.
