Detailed description

The best vegetable purées for hungry babies!

100% organic vegetable purées for babies from 4/6 months, made in France with no preservatives and no added salt, of course!
Vegetable purées perfectly tailored to awaken baby's taste buds during weaning from 4/6 months. Enjoyed just as they are, or with a dash of spice or a sprinkle of cheese... Baby's going to love it!

*Tomatoes, just like aubergines, spinach or strawberries, are foods naturally rich in histamine. Some babies may develop a skin reaction to histamine; this remains rare and very often harmless. Have a word with your favourite paediatrician if this happens to Baby.

Frequently asked questions from our customers and community

Can you freeze the products?

Our (delicious) little purées have been cooked and then sterilised (heated to a high temperature) to ensure their preservation.
You can freeze them without any problem by following a few guidelines (the ingredients may however lose a little of their flavour):

  • Do not place the pouch directly in the freezer, as its structure may be affected by freezing.
  • Pour them into a suitable container first (an ice cube tray, for example), or cook them before freezing.
  • Never refreeze a product that has already been defrosted.

Parent tip: use our little pouches to cook recipes for your baby, then freeze them to keep them for longer!

Once opened, how long does the pouch keep?

Once opened, fruits, vegetables and yogurt-style pouches keep for 48 hours in the fridge, and 36 hours for little meals and meat/fish. And of course, you can freeze the rest of your pouches by pouring them into an ice cube tray — perfect for making handy little portions ready to whip out when Baby is hungry.

Should you add fat to your products?

There is no added fat in our pouches (except in the complete little meals).
And as you might expect, fat is essential for Baby! You can therefore add one teaspoon of oil per day between 4 and 12 months, and 2 teaspoons between 12 and 36 months, into the purée after warming it up.

Can you warm up the pouches?

Just like glass baby food jars, our pouches can be warmed up. At Popote, we recommend pouring the contents of your pouches into a suitable container before heating in the microwave or in a bain-marie. Make sure to check the temperature of the food before giving it to your baby.
WARNING: never put the pouch directly in the microwave. Never store a pouch whose contents have already been warmed up in its packaging.
