Detailed description
POPOTE'S TOMATO PURÉE FOR BABIES
Need a little something to boost your dish? Give it a holiday vibe? One Popote tomato purée and you're sorted — no need to look any further.
This tomato purée from 4 or 6 months can be used to enhance a purée for Baby but also as a tomato coulis for older children. No additives, no added sugar or salt, no preservatives. #zerostress you can offer your little ones a healthy ketchup to go with their chicken nuggets, just like in this recipe.
All our ingredients are organic and, most importantly, steam-cooked to preserve all their nutrients and fibre, which are particularly abundant in tomatoes.
*Tomatoes, like aubergines, spinach or strawberries, are vegetables and fruits naturally high in histamine. Some babies may have a skin reaction to histamine — it remains rare and very often mild. Have a chat with your favourite paediatrician if it happens to Baby.
THE RECIPE FOR BABY
For a little chicken basquaise from 20 months, mix the chicken purée with a little tomato purée and carrot purée, add chopped thyme, parsley and basil. Warm for a few minutes and it's ready!
All our recipes can be found on Popote Minute. Feel free to share your recipe ideas with us by email at bonjour@popote-bb.fr 📩. We'll be happy to reshare them (and give them a try!).

Can the products be frozen?
Our (delicious) little purées have been cooked and then sterilised (heated to a high temperature) to ensure their preservation.
You can freeze them without any problem by following a few guidelines (the ingredients may however lose a little of their flavour):
– Do not place the pouch directly in the freezer, as its structure may be affected by freezing.
– Pour the contents into a suitable container beforehand (an ice cube tray, for example) or cook them before freezing.
– Never refreeze a product that has already been thawed.
Parent tip: use our little pouches to cook recipes for your baby, then freeze them to keep them for longer!
Once opened, how long does the pouch keep?
Our baby pouches can be kept in the fridge for up to 48 hours for fruit, vegetables and yogurt-style pouches, and up to 36 hours for meat, fish and ready meal pouches, provided they are stored hygienically and with the cap properly closed.
Should you add fat to your products?
There is no added fat in our pouches (except in the complete little meals).
And as you might expect, fat is essential for Baby! You can therefore add a teaspoon of oil per day between 4 and 12 months, and 2 teaspoons between 12 and 36 months, into the purée after warming it up.
My baby is allergic to cow's milk protein
None of our pouches contain any trace of cow's milk protein, except for our plain yogurt, vanilla yogurt, porridge, our meal pouches and possibly our beef and veal pouches.
But don't panic! We've thought of everything with our plant-based yogurts: maximum discovery with the Oat-Apple and Coco-Banana for babies with CMPA (please note, they contain little calcium).
Psst, all our machines are cleaned before each new production run, so there's no risk of cross-contamination.
