Detailed description
POPOTE'S PARSNIP PURÉE FOR BABIES
Have you ever tried a little jar of parsnip for babies? No? Not surprising — there aren't any! Except at Popote... A funny little vegetable that babies are going to love! And parents too!
Parsnip is mild and slightly sweet (just like sweet potato), making it an original purée for Baby's weaning from 4/6 months.
Let them discover the true taste of food with this 100% organic vegetable pouch — and by creating your own recipes, each one more original than the last. That's why we created single-ingredient vegetable pouches. Don't hesitate to mix in spices, herbs and purées to tickle Baby's palate!
All our organic ingredients are gently steamed before being blended — and with no unnecessary additives. Just the good stuff. Because Baby deserves it.
A RECIPE FOR BABY
Nice and simple from 7 months: place the parsnip purée alongside some ham, sprinkle with grated emmental, warm it up and Baby is served! Grab two little Popote pouches for this one. Discover the full recipe.
All our recipes can be found on Popote Minute. Share your recipe ideas with us by email at bonjour@popote-bb.fr 📩. We'll be happy to share them on (and to test them, of course!).
Usage tips
- This pouch can be kept at room temperature and for up to 48 hours in the fridge after opening. Portionable and resealable, it can be reused provided hygienic storage conditions are met.
- This pouch has been designed to preserve the great taste of its ingredients. You can heat it, mix it, stir it in, or enjoy it straight from the spout for the little foodies out there!
- Let your culinary creativity run wild by creating your own recipes, but never let children under 36 months play with the cap or without supervision!
- Don't forget to recycle. All our pouches, and their caps, can go straight into the recycling bin!

Can the products be frozen?
Our (delicious) little purées have been cooked and then sterilised (heated to a high temperature) to ensure their preservation.
You can freeze them without any problem by following a few guidelines (the ingredients may however lose a little of their flavour):
– Do not place the pouch directly in the freezer, as its structure may be affected by freezing.
– Pour the contents into a suitable container beforehand (an ice cube tray, for example) or cook them before freezing.
– Never refreeze a product that has already been thawed.
Parent tip: use our little pouches to cook recipes for your baby, then freeze them to keep them for longer!
Once opened, how long does the pouch keep?
Our baby pouches can be kept in the fridge for up to 48 hours for fruit, vegetables and yogurt-style pouches, and up to 36 hours for meat, fish and ready meal pouches, provided they are stored hygienically and with the cap properly closed.
Should you add fat to your products?
There is no added fat in our pouches (except in the complete little meals).
And as you might expect, fat is essential for Baby! You can therefore add a teaspoon of oil per day between 4 and 12 months, and 2 teaspoons between 12 and 36 months, into the purée after warming it up.
My baby is allergic to cow's milk protein
None of our pouches contain any trace of cow's milk protein, except for our plain yogurt, vanilla yogurt, porridge, our meal pouches and possibly our beef and veal pouches.
But don't panic! We've thought of everything with our plant-based yogurts: maximum discovery with the Oat-Apple and Coco-Banana for babies with CMPA (please note, they contain little calcium).
Psst, all our machines are cleaned before each new production run, so there's no risk of cross-contamination.
