POPOTE'S HAM PURÉE FOR BABY
Ham and pasta, does that ring a bell? It does for us too.
That's why Popote created a white ham purée so Baby can enjoy this wonderfully comforting dish. Easy to introduce into Baby's food diversification from 4/6 months, the ham is simply steamed and blended to achieve a smooth texture that will delight their little taste buds.
All the ingredients in our little pouches are organic and, above all, free from unnecessary additives — no added salt, no added sugar, and no preservatives. In short, nothing but goodness!
THE RECIPE FOR BABY
Unlike classic baby food jars, we offer the meat separately from the vegetables so you can create whatever menus you like for Baby's meals.
A little ham pouch for Baby? Yes Mama! We simply cooked the ham gently, blended it with a little potato for texture and BOOM! A Popote ham purée to delight little tummies and make life easier for parents.
To let Baby taste from 8 months what will become a true classic, follow the chef. Warm up the ham purée, add a mashed organic potato and a knob of butter! Discover more tips for jazzing up baby purées.
THE FAMOUS 50/50...
At Popote, we want to introduce Baby to the wonderful taste of meat from the earliest age. We offer you a wide choice of meats, carefully selected and blended. We then pack them into our adorable and wonderfully handy little pouches. Popote, pouch, sachet, baby jar… call it whatever you like!
If we add 29% (yes, we're precise about these things!) of potato to our meat purées, it's to ensure a good texture, but also and above all so that the amount of protein in our little pouch matches the daily dose Baby can safely absorb. Here's how it works: 1/3 of a pouch = 10 g of meat, 2/3 of a pouch = 20 g of meat and 1 pouch = 30 g of meat. Baby will want to grow up very fast (though not too fast)!
Usage advice
- If this pouch has not been heated, it can be kept at room temperature and for up to 36 hours in the fridge after opening. Portionable and resealable, it can be reused provided hygienic storage conditions are maintained.
- Designed to preserve the ingredients, this little pouch is made without bisphenol A in accordance with regulations and packaged under a protective atmosphere.
- Feel free to unleash your culinary creativity by creating your own recipes, but do not let children under 36 months play with the cap or without supervision!
- Don't forget to recycle. All our pouches, including their caps, can go straight into the recycling bin!

Can the products be frozen?
Our (delicious) little purées have been cooked and then sterilised (heated to a high temperature) to guarantee their preservation.
You can freeze them without any problem by following a few guidelines (the ingredients may however lose a little of their flavour):
– Do not place the pouch directly in the freezer, as its structure may be altered by freezing.
– Pour the contents into a suitable container first (an ice cube tray, for example) or cook them before freezing.
– Never refreeze a product that has already been defrosted.
Parent tip: use our little pouches to cook recipes for baby, then freeze them to keep them for longer!
Once opened, how long does the pouch keep?
Our baby pouches can be kept in the fridge for up to 48 hours for fruit, vegetable and brassé pouches, and up to 36 hours for meat, fish and little dish pouches, provided they are stored hygienically and with the cap properly closed.
Do you need to add fat to your products?
There is no added fat in our pouches (except in the complete little meals).
And as you might expect, fat is life for Baby! You can therefore add a teaspoon of oil per day between 4 and 12 months, and 2 teaspoons between 12 and 36 months, into the purée after warming it up.
My baby is allergic to cow's milk protein
None of our pouches contain traces of cow's milk protein except our plain brassé, vanilla brassé, porridge, our little dishes and possibly our beef and veal pouches.
But don't panic! We've thought of everything with our plant-based brassés: a world of discovery with the Oat-Apple and Coco-Banana for babies with CMPA (please note, they contain little calcium).
Psst, all our machines are cleaned before each new production run, so no risk of cross-contamination.
