BABY AUBERGINE PURÉE BY POPOT
Starting weaning isn't always easy — we know. With our organic aubergine purée from 4/6 months, you can tickle Baby's taste buds and introduce them to new flavours with a Provençal twist. Feeling adventurous? Try some original baby recipes too. This clever blend will develop Baby's palate, and before you know it, they'll be ready for ratatouille!
THE BEST ORGANIC PURÉES FOR BABIES
Let Baby discover the true taste of real food with Popote single-ingredient purées. 100% organic, grown with passion, prepared with care, gently steam-cooked with no unnecessary additives. That's what gives all our ingredients their wonderful flavour. And to keep Baby's taste buds delighted day after day, all our products are approved by a paediatric nutritionist.
In all honesty (and with zero objectivity), the best baby aubergine pouch out there. Either way, it's your favourite Popote!
*Aubergine, like spinach, tomato, and strawberry, is naturally high in histamine. Some babies may have a mild skin reaction to histamine — it's rare and usually harmless. Have a chat with your favourite paediatrician if it happens to Baby.
A BABY RECIPE WITH AUBERGINE
Recipe idea for summer evenings from 18 months: mix a Popote aubergine pouch with a drizzle of olive oil, a squeeze of lemon juice and a pinch of cumin, then spread on toasted slices of white bread. You can almost hear the cicadas singing!
In the same spirit, for a baby-friendly starter, let us introduce you to the artichoke delight.
Usage tips
- If this aubergine purée pouch for babies has not been reheated, it can be kept at room temperature and for up to 48 hours in the fridge after opening. Portionable and resealable, it can be reused provided hygienic storage conditions are maintained.
- Designed to preserve the ingredients, this little baby purée pouch is manufactured without bisphenol A in accordance with regulations and packaged under a protective atmosphere.
- Feel free to unleash your culinary creativity by creating your own recipes for your baby, but do not let children under 36 months play with the cap or without supervision!
- Don't forget to recycle. All our pouches, and their caps, can go straight into the recycling bin!

Can the products be frozen?
Our (delicious) little purées have been cooked and then sterilised (heated to a high temperature) to ensure their preservation.
You can freeze them without any problem by following a few guidelines (the ingredients may however lose a little of their flavour):
– Do not place the pouch directly in the freezer, as its structure may be affected by freezing.
– Pour the contents into a suitable container beforehand (an ice cube tray, for example) or cook them before freezing.
– Never refreeze a product that has already been thawed.
Parent tip: use our little pouches to cook recipes for your baby, then freeze them to keep them for longer!
Once opened, how long does the pouch keep?
Our baby pouches can be kept in the fridge for up to 48 hours for fruit, vegetables and yogurt-style pouches, and up to 36 hours for meat, fish and ready meal pouches, provided they are stored hygienically and with the cap properly closed.
Should you add fat to your products?
There is no added fat in our pouches (except in the complete little meals).
And as you might expect, fat is essential for Baby! You can therefore add a teaspoon of oil per day between 4 and 12 months, and 2 teaspoons between 12 and 36 months, into the purée after warming it up.
My baby is allergic to cow's milk protein
None of our pouches contain any trace of cow's milk protein, except for our plain yogurt, vanilla yogurt, porridge, our meal pouches and possibly our beef and veal pouches.
But don't panic! We've thought of everything with our plant-based yogurts: maximum discovery with the Oat-Apple and Coco-Banana for babies with CMPA (please note, they contain little calcium).
Psst, all our machines are cleaned before each new production run, so there's no risk of cross-contamination.
