Detailed description
INTRODUCING SMALL PIECES TO BABY
After introducing your baby to a wide variety of tastes and flavours during weaning from 4/6 months, it's time to add new textures to their purées. How do you know if your baby is ready for their first meals with small pieces? Smooth and thick purées are now easy for them to eat. They can hold their head and back upright in their highchair and can bring food to their mouth on their own. From 10 months, you can start offering foods in the form of very soft pieces that squash between the tongue and the palate (between the fingers works too). Around 10/12 months, you can give them pieces to bite and chew — raw or cooked.
* Please note: no small, round, hard foods before the age of 5. Grapes, for example, should always be cut in half.
SMALL PIECES FOR BABY
Discover our vegetable and starch blend: Mushrooms and Pasta Shells! Ingredients from organic farming, cooked, mashed and carefully prepared in France. A delicious meal that baby will love, helping them discover new textures: small pieces from 10 months. At lunchtime, you can complement the Popote with a little protein such as meat, fish or eggs (between 10 and 20g/day) and 1 to 2 teaspoons of fat per day. Or a knob of butter in the evening if they didn't have any at lunch. Simple as that! Just pour the contents of the pouch into a suitable container, pop it in the microwave for 30 seconds, and off it goes — straight to baby's tummy!
To mix things up and vary the textures, discover our other small pieces recipe: Carrots and brown rice!

Can the products be frozen?
Our (delicious) little purées have been cooked and then sterilised (heated to a high temperature) to ensure their preservation.
You can freeze them without any problem by following a few guidelines (the ingredients may however lose a little of their flavour):
– Do not place the pouch directly in the freezer, as its structure may be affected by freezing.
– Pour the contents into a suitable container beforehand (an ice cube tray, for example) or cook them before freezing.
– Never refreeze a product that has already been thawed.
Parent tip: use our little pouches to cook recipes for your baby, then freeze them to keep them for longer!
Once opened, how long does the pouch keep?
Our baby pouches can be kept in the fridge for up to 48 hours for fruit, vegetables and yogurt-style pouches, and up to 36 hours for meat, fish and ready meal pouches, provided they are stored hygienically and with the cap properly closed.
Should you add fat to your products?
There is no added fat in our pouches (except in the complete little meals).
And as you might expect, fat is essential for Baby! You can therefore add a teaspoon of oil per day between 4 and 12 months, and 2 teaspoons between 12 and 36 months, into the purée after warming it up.
My baby is allergic to cow's milk protein
None of our pouches contain any trace of cow's milk protein, except for our plain yogurt, vanilla yogurt, porridge, our meal pouches and possibly our beef and veal pouches.
But don't panic! We've thought of everything with our plant-based yogurts: maximum discovery with the Oat-Apple and Coco-Banana for babies with CMPA (please note, they contain little calcium).
Psst, all our machines are cleaned before each new production run, so there's no risk of cross-contamination.
