We're Popote

For your babies, we've chosen organic, wholesome and well-made. For the rest, we adapt to your life as parents: to get started, to complement home cooking or a feed, for days out, for every day or just in a pinch. The best choice is yours.

Organic smooth-texture purées and compotes for baby

Smooth texture is the starting point for every successful weaning journey. Our organic Popote purées and compotes are finely blended, with no lumps, so Baby can discover their first flavours in complete comfort.

Why start with smooth?

At the start of weaning, between 4 and 6 months, Baby isn't yet used to chewing or mashing food with their tongue. A perfectly smooth, lump-free texture makes it easier to get to grips with the spoon and learn this new way of eating, alongside breast milk or formula, which remains the priority at this age.

Our smooth purées and compotes

Carrot, courgette, pumpkin, apple, pear, banana… our single-ingredient pouches in smooth texture let you introduce one food at a time, making it easy to spot Baby's preferences and any potential reactions. Steamed and finely blended, they retain all the flavour of the fruit or vegetable, with no added sugar or salt.

What comes after smooth?

Once Baby has taken to their first smooth purées, the texture can gradually move on to finely milled, then to small soft pieces, at Baby's own pace. Our other textures naturally support this progression, without ever rushing the next step.
